Pictures of Abenaki Malamutes Working

Below are pictures of Abenaki Malamutes doing some of the things they enjoy.  (and so do we)  It is very important to give your Malamute a job to do.  This can be any of the traditional Malamute jobs like sledding, weightpulling or backpacking.  But Malamutes can also excel at agility, obedience and Rally, if you have the patience and time to work with them.   Living life as a couch potato usually results in the house being destroyed, holes dug, legs or tails being chewed, etc.  A working Mal is a happy Mal!!!  When it is too hot to sled or backpack we enjoy spending time with our dogs in the conformation ring too.
